The Kolyma Highway, Road of Bones 2021 Tour between Khandyga and Magadan is often referred to as the Road of Bones - an acknowledgement of the infamous road building labour force from the gulags - many of whom perished building the road. There are three roads. This tour will take the all-weather road which is maintained. The scenery is spectacular as we drive alongside huge rivers and gold mining operations. You will have an opportunity to combine two countries: Mongolia with its unusual roads, Russian Siberia with the largest freshwater Lake Baikal and the Road of Bones leading to Magadan. This tour is full of interesting combinations. Our previous clients have done a slightly different modification of this tour but they were so impressed that wrote an article.
